This plant is part of the Calathea family. In fact, this pretty lady's got something not many plants have, pink stripes! But don't be fooled, it is hard work getting her to put those big beautiful leaves out. Just like any rock star there is a list of demands: a bright spot, no direct sunlight, regular misting of the leaves, fertilizer in summer and a little bit of water at just the right time!
